The second Infra4NextGen Hackathon – Analyzing CRONOS Data and Communicating Key Insights to Policy Makers – was held online over three days from Wednesday 11 until Monday 16 June 2025.
The participants created policy briefs using newly released CROss-National Online Survey (CRONOS) Panel data, and were looking to win a share of €4,000 for the best entries.
The participants created policy briefs on a range of topics, including attitudes towards economic inequality, public support for policies combatting climate change, and digital skills such as fact-checking.
All briefs include policy recommendations to counter the identified problems, and are licensed under a CC-BY license to promote re-use.

The judging panel for the Hackathon was formed of Ruxandra Comănaru (City St George’s, University of London), Wouter Poortinga (Cardiff University), and Loren Ma (City St George’s, University of London).
